VELUX IRE - Signature installation - GAA Centre of Excellence

"Showcase the skylights" was the brief from the client.

As part of a four day job I was asked to travel to Ireland to produce imagery for a brochure, social media, case studies and print advertising from this stunning sports training venue.

I was restricted to working with a "fast & light" set-up as well as working within health and safety regulations, including working at heights using a chest harness.

Cost £3000 + costs

Roddy Mclauchlan, a high performance personal trainer requested some "interesting portaits" for PR use.

After suggesting a few ideas, I shot a range of portraits on location, in a single day.

Roddy received 40 final images and 5 different looks, available as hi-res JPEGS from our private client area.

TOTAL COST: £450

With little or no info on the venue prior to arrival, I produced a quick plan of shots at 7am, set-up studio lighting and was ready to shoot as doors opened.

I worked "live" processing images onsite and supplying to a third party PR agency who managed online distribution on the day.

A beautifully made product which deserved some special pictures to show it off.

With a very detail focused and demanding client this was a nerve wracking commission. But with subtle use of special materials in the studio set, I think I managed to do the reel justice.

Shot in studio, the client was eventually provided with over 50 images of varying angles, which were subsequently used for a website and print media advertising.
